How does RFID affect me?
Major RFID enabled credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express have been hacked. (Video) (NY Times Article)

The e-passports of The United States, The United Kingdom, Germany, and The Netherlands have been attacked to obtain full access to the digitized fingerprint, photograph, and all other encrypted data on the RFID tags.

Our RFID Blocking Wallets

Our RFID Blocking Wallets ensure that cards with RFID tags within the wallet can NOT be read while the wallet is closed. This gives you the ability to control when, how and by whom your cards are accessed. To allow the RFID tag in the card to be read, simply open the wallet and direct it towards the reader. Our products are lab certified by the United States GSA for protecting RFID cards used by the Military.

Why are RFID cards dangerous?

The RFID tags in identification cards have been shown to be insecure (Click here for examples of RFID insecurities). Attackers are able to read and copy information stored on these tags to create copies they can use themselves!

Governments, corporations, franchises and banks are now using RFID tags embedded in identification cards. These tags allow the cards to be read remotely. (Click here find out how to tell if you have an RFID card or passport.)
